Get Dental Implants

Terms of use

What you are agreeing to when you use this website or book a consultation through us. This page is a working draft: the parts that describe our service are in place, the clauses flagged as recommended are defaults for the client to confirm, and a lawyer still needs to review the page before launch.

01. Read this first

Status of this draft

Do not publish as final

What is final, what is recommended, and what is missing

The sections describing what our service is and is not are written from the client brief and from what this website actually does, and they are accurate. The refund terms and the responsibility clause are recommended drafts, flagged where they appear, so the page can be reviewed as a whole rather than around gaps.
Still needed before launch: confirmation of the refund terms, whether treatment prices quoted by a partner clinic are held for any period, the registered entity name and ABN, the state or territory whose law governs these terms, and a lawyer's review of every clause.

02. Our service

What you are actually getting from us

Get Dental Implants is an information and introduction service. We are not a dental practice, we do not provide dental treatment, and we do not provide financial advice.
What we do is explain the treatments and ways people pay at a general level, match you with an independent partner dentist, and book your consultation. We do not prepare, check or lodge applications to the ATO for early release of super. We are paid by the partner clinic.
Using this website or sending an enquiry does not commit you to anything, and neither does speaking to a consultant.

03. The clinic

Your agreement is with the clinic

When you book a consultation or proceed with treatment, the agreement for that care is between you and the partner clinic. We are not a party to it.
Partner clinics are independent businesses. They set their own treatment fees, make their own clinical decisions, and are responsible for their own care, their own staff and their own consent processes. Our standards for joining the list are published on how we choose our dentists, and meeting them is not a warranty by us of any clinic's work.
Complaints about clinical care can be made to the clinic, to AHPRA, and to your state or territory health complaints body. We would also like to hear about it, because that is how a clinic stops being a partner.

04. The deposit

The $75 consultation deposit

The $75 is taken by card on the consultant call, after your questions have been answered and once you decide to book. Nothing is taken when you send the form.
It covers the consultation itself: the examination, the X-rays and 3D scans, and the written treatment plan with itemised costs. There is nothing else to pay at that appointment.

Recommended, client to confirm

Changing or cancelling your consultation

If you reschedule or cancel at least two business days before your consultation, the $75 moves to your new appointment or is refunded in full, whichever you prefer. If the clinic reschedules or cancels, the same applies, however much notice there is.
If you cancel with less notice, or do not attend, the $75 may be kept, because the appointment time was held for you. We will always look at the circumstances, and a genuine emergency is not treated as a no show.
Your consultant explains these terms on the call before the card is taken. None of them limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, including a remedy if the consultation is not provided as described.

05. Limits

What we do not promise

Three things, and we would rather say them here than have anyone infer otherwise.

01

We do not promise an outcome from your treatment

Individual results vary and outcomes depend on your own circumstances. Any surgical or invasive procedure carries risks. What suits you is decided by the treating dentist after an examination and 3D scans.

02

We do not promise an approval for early release of super

That decision belongs to the ATO. Eligibility requires acute or chronic dental pain, that the treatment is not readily available through the public health system, and that you cannot otherwise afford it. We publish no success rate and we state no likelihood.

03

We do not promise finance approval

Payment plans are approved or declined by the clinic or by an independent finance provider on their own criteria. We are not a credit provider and we are not paid by any of them.

06. This website

Using the content here

Everything on this website is general information. It is not dental advice and it is not financial advice, and the disclaimer sets that out in full.
We keep the content current and we date the pages that change, but information can go out of date and the linked source material, particularly the ATO's own pages, is the authority rather than our summary of it.
The text, design and images on this site belong to us or to the people we licensed them from. You are welcome to read, print and share pages for your own use. Republishing the content commercially, or presenting it as your own, is not on.
Do not use this website or its forms to send anything unlawful, to misrepresent who you are, or to attempt to interfere with the site or the people using it.

07. Responsibility

Who is responsible for what

Draft for legal review

Our responsibility, and where it stops

We are responsible for our own service: the accuracy of what we publish, the introduction we make, and the consultation booking we arrange.
We are not responsible for clinical care or treatment outcomes, which belong to the partner clinic that provides them, for decisions made by a finance provider, or for decisions made by the ATO or your super fund.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law, or under any other law that cannot be excluded.

08. Housekeeping

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top of the page shows when they last changed, and the version in force is the one published here at the time.
Where a change affects something you have already booked or paid for, we will tell you rather than relying on you to notice a date.

Client to supply

Entity, contact and governing law

Recommended: the law of the state or territory where the business is registered, which is normally where it operates from. Still needed: the registered entity name and ABN these terms bind, and the published contact point for questions about them, which is the same one the privacy policy needs.

When you are ready

Ask before you agree to anything.

That goes for us as much as for anyone else.

The consultant call is free, there is nothing to sign to have it, and you can ask exactly what you are committing to at each step. We would rather you asked.

Talk to a consultant

Three quick questions, then your details. A consultant calls you, usually the same day.

How many teeth are missing or failing?
How are you thinking of paying?

There is no wrong answer, and nothing here is a commitment. It only tells the consultant what to talk you through first. Early release of super is decided by the ATO, requires acute or chronic dental pain, and is never guaranteed. Read how each route works.

We will only use your details to contact you about dental implant treatment. Read our privacy policy.
